There’s only one game on the college football schedule this week, and its magnitude certainly warrants the attention, as one of sports’ greatest rivalries takes center stage Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia - Army vs. Navy.

Army (8-3) vs. Navy (6-5) at Philadelphia, 3, CBS

Spread: Navy -3.5

Brad’s Breakdown: The Army-Navy annual rivalry game gets its rightful place as the only game on the entire college football schedule this week. Perhaps there is no game where you cheer for your preferred military academy as if it was your favorite team one time a year. Whether it be from your own service, or those of your family members, as it is for most of us with connections to one or the other, this is truly a one-of-a-kind game. On the field, Navy has dominated this series for what seems like forever, although Army finally broke a 14-year losing streak with a 21-17 win last year. The 2017 version of the Black Knights is probably their best in more than a decade, coming into this game with an 8-3 record, better than that of Navy’s 6-5 mark. Still, the Midshipmen are favored by more than a field goal Saturday afternoon. Navy, however, has lost five of its last six games, although it did push then-No. 8 Notre Dame to the final stages before losing by a touchdown three weeks ago. Army had won six in a row before losing by a field goal at North Texas. Before that loss the Knights beat Duke for a marquee win. This game in Philly should be a close one, as the two teams are as closely matched as they have been in recent memory. Navy wins, but Army is going to keep this to a field goal.

Brad’s Final: Navy 27, Army 24 (Army)

Craig’s Final: Navy 27, Army 20 (Navy)

Glenn’s Final: Army 17, Navy 14 (Army)

Matt’s Final: Army 28, Navy 24 (Army)
