No. 17 Louisville at No. 24 NC State, 8, ESPN
The Spread: Louisville -4
Brad’s Breakdown: Louisville’s Lamar Jackson is doing his best to put himself in the conversation to repeat as the Heisman trophy winner, as he has 18 total touchdowns in five games, but the lone blemish on the Cardinals’ schedule is also the reason he won’t win. That was a 47-21 beatdown at home to Clemson. Louisville has beaten Purdue, North Carolina, Kent State and Murray State this season. One stat that jumped out about the Cardinals, however, is they are just 1-8 against the spread over their last nine games. That’s not good. For NC State, four wins have followed an opening week loss to South Carolina. The Wolfpack have beaten Marshall, Furman, Florida State and Syracuse. Louisville is a step up in competition, especially with that Florida State win not looking so great now. The spread is low here and Jackson should make plenty of highlight-reel plays in leading Louisville to victory.
Brad’s Final: Louisville 31, NC State 24 (Louisville)
Craig’s Final: NC State 27, Louisville 24 (NC State)
Glenn’s Final: Louisville 44, NC State 17 (Louisville)
Matt’s Final: Louisville 31, NC State 20 (Louisville)
