NFL Mock Draft Top 10: Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota Will Go 1-2, Plus Jets Take Kevin White, Giants Select Brandon Scherff In First Round

The NFL Draft is finally here, with the first round taking place Thursday night from Chicago. Here is our fully updated mock draft for the first 10 picks of the draft, including who will go to the New York Jets and New York Giants.

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State

Winston has long been projected as the top overall pick and nothing has changed for the Bucs as they hope they have found their franchise quarterback.

2. Tennessee Titans

Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon

Mariota's stock has shot up over the last month with many praising him as the best QB in the draft. I don't know if the Titans will keep the pick, but this is the spot where a big list of possible teams such as the Jets, Browns, Chargers and Eagles all in the mix to trade up and take Mariota. It's clear that barring something late he will be the No. 2 pick.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars

Dante Fowler Jr, OLB,  Florida

The Jags need pass rushers and Fowler is hands down the top one available. Jacksonville drafts back-to-back first round picks out of their home state of Florida, good marketing for a team that struggles to put people in the seats.

4. Oakland Raiders

Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama

Oakland has what they believe can be its franchise quarterback in Derek Carr, so they go out and give him a top option in the passing game. The Raiders opt to take the best WR in the draft right now rather than the speed, upside and risk of Kevin White.

5. Washington Redskins

Leonard Williams, DT, USC

The Redskins get lucky with the best overall player in the draft falling into their laps at five. Williams has greatness written all over him. The only thing that would stop Washington from rushing to draft Williams is if a team offers it a ton of picks in a trade. The Redskins however, steal the top pick without having to trade up.

6. New York Jets

Kevin White, WR, West Virginia

The Jets could trade up for Mariota or they could elect to trade down to collect more picks as they only have six. If the Jets stay, they will take the flashiest player left in Kevin White. We previously had Mariota going here, but that appears a pipe dream now. Woody Johnson said he wants to give embattled QB Geno Smith more weapons. Here's one.

7. Chicago Bears

Vic Beasley, OLB, Clemson

Da Bears need to get back to the Monsters of the Midway days and getting a top edge rusher in Beasley is a good place to start rebuilding what was once a feared defense.

8. Atlanta Falcons

Alvin "Bud" Dupree, OLB, Kentucky

Atlanta's defense is terrible and needs all the help it can get. Dupree has shot up draft boards recently, as other edge rushers in the draft have suffered from off-the-field issues. He's a talented player but wouldn't be in the top 10 if it had not been for the drop of those other players.

9. New York Giants

Brandon Scherff, OL, Iowa

The Giants have one of the game's best playmakers on the outside in WR Odell Beckham Jr., and will also get Victor Cruz back from injury. What New York desperately needs is someone to help protect Eli Manning long enough for him to connect with those talented receivers.

10. St Louis Rams

Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State

The Rams have a very good defensive line, so adding Waynes, who is an excellent cover corner, will only add to an ever-improving defense in St. Louis.
