Our Great NCAA Tournament Mascot Final Four Picks, Kentucky Wildcats vs Wisconsin Badgers, Michigan State Spartans vs Duke Blue Devils

April 4, 2015

Sixty-four mascots began our journey of picking winners in the NCAA men's basketball tournament based on our own special logic and now we're down to just four. The Kentucky Wildcats, Wisconsin Badgers, Michigan State Spartans and Duke Blue Devils have survived where all others failed, and now each of those teams are two wins away from a national championship.

For those new to our bracket picks, we don't use player matchups, coaching prowess or team philosophy to pick winners, but rather the battle put forth by the team's mascots. The results have been great so far, from a 12-4 record in the second round, to a perfect 8-0 mark in the Sweet 16, to a more pedestrian 2-2 in the Elite Eight, we're a remarkable 22-6 picking winners. That's quite the record considering the results of many busted brackets out there.

Here are our picks for the Final Four and we'll be back Monday for the National Championship game. Let us know your picks in the comments section below.

No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats vs No. 1 Wisconsin Badgers

Winner: Wildcats

It's the same war as last week, except this time the Badgers will have a new and larger pack of Wildcats to contend with. The Badgers won't last week, but won't be able to defeat this pack of Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky was battle-tested by the Fighting Irish last week and barely came out alive. This weekend, the Wildcats have only one thought: Redemption for the close call. The Badgers better have a good veterinarian court side because the Wildcats are out for blood.

No. 7 Michigan State Spartans vs No. 1 Duke Blue Devils

Winner: Blue Devils

The Spartans have conquered cardinals, sooners and bulldogs, but the challenge put forth by the Blue Devils will be on a whole new level. Backed by the Cameron Crazies, the Blue Devils, led by their expertise in mind-control and offensive ability, will soar to victory in Indianapolis Saturday night. The Spartans will be able to poke holes in the weak defense of the Blue Devils, but the Spartans won't have the defense to stop the Devils' superb offense.
