Redskins at Giants Preview: GameDay Staff Picks Winner Against Spread

December 12, 2014

The New York Giants broke their seven-game losing streak last week against the Titans, and now get the opportunity to put together an actual winning streak, as they take on the underdog Washington Redskins at MetLife Stadium Sunday afternoon in Week 15. Our GameDay Is Here staff gives their predictions on the game. To make actual wagers on this game and more, click here.

Washington Redskins (3-10) at New York Giants (4-9)

Sunday, 1 p.m., FOX

Betting Line: Giants -7

Brad Carroll (10-3 straight up, 8-5 vs. spread)

Giants 31, Redskins 20

It's amazing the amount of dysfunction that has engulfed the Redskins this season, with the main focus centering on coach Jay Gruden benching Robert Griffin III, the former golden boy of Washington football. The Redskins have no direction right now and there might be major changes coming in the offseason. It sets up perfectly for a Giants team that is feeling good after last week's beatdown of the Titans.

Matt Straub (7-6, 6-7)

Redskins 28, Giants 14

I might be dead wrong on this, but I just can't pick the Giants.

Craig Carroll (9-5, 7-7)

Giants 28, Redskins 17

The Redskins are one of the biggest messes in the NFL right now, trying to figure out if they will give RG3 another shot to be their franchise quarterback or to start over. Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. continues to gel as Beckham goes for over 100 yards and a touchdown.

Glenn Carroll (8-4, 6-6)

Redskins 31, Giants 24

RG3 will find himself back in the game for the Redskins and he will pull out a come from behind victory which will only leave Eli Manning shaking his head.
