San Francisco 49ers (5-4) at New York Giants (3-6)
Sunday, 1 p.m., FOX
Betting Line: Giants +4.5
Brad Carroll (8-1 straight up, 7-2 vs. spread)
49ers 28, Giants 21
The Giants hung with the Seahawks in Seattle for three quarters last week before ultimately losing by 21. That may have been the Giants' last stand on this season. The schedule doesn't lighten up either this week, as a desperate 49ers team comes into MetLife looking to get back into the wild card chase. If Rashad Jennings is fully back, the Giants could pull the upset. But San Francisco is just too good to lose against a reeling Giants team.
Matt Straub (5-4, 5-4)
49ers 31, Giants 17
With their season saved, the 49ers are going to start to roll now. The Giants, on the other hand, are on the verge of utter collapse.
Craig Carroll (7-2, 6-3)
49ers 31, Giants 21
The 49ers have too much talent, even with all the injuries, to not beat the Giants on the road Sunday.
Glenn Carroll (6-2, 5-3)
Giants 24, 49ers 21
The Giants go from playing Seattle to the 49ers in another tough matchup. San Francisco isn't as good as everyone believes, and the Giants will take advantage in this game to keep their fans somewhat interested in the rest of the season.
