Giants At Seahawks Preview: GameDay Staff Picks Winner Against Spread

November 7, 2014

The New York Giants, losers of three straight, have the tough task Sunday of playing the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks on the road in Week 10. Our GameDay Is Here staff gives their predictions on the game. To make actual wagers on this game and more, click here.

New York Giants (3-5) at Seattle Seahawks (5-3)

Sunday, 4:25 p.m., FOX

Betting Line: Giants +9

Brad Carroll (7-1 straight up, 7-1 vs. spread)

Seahawks 28, Giants 20

The Giants are on the verge of becoming irrelevant, and things don't get any easier for them remaining in the playoff chase with a road game against the Seahawks. Seattle isn't as good as it was in winning the Super Bowl, but there doesn't appear to be any chance for the Giants to find enough offense or defense to pull the upset. Big Blue will make it closer than people think, however.

Matt Straub (4-4, 4-4)

Seahawks 24, Giants 10

Seattle needs this game and the Giants might have had their last shot Monday night. Manning gets roughed up by the Seattle defense, which comes to life in a big way.

Craig Carroll (6-2, 5-3)

Seahawks 28, Giants 10

The Giants are almost as bad as the Jets. Eli Manning will be rattled playing in front of Seattle's "12th man," leading to three interceptions in another terrible loss for Big Blue.

Glenn Carroll (5-2, 4-3)

Seahawks 35, Giants 0

The Giants will false start eight times in front of a raucous Seattle home crowd and end up getting shut out.
