The New York Giants host Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9 on Monday Night Football. Our GameDay Is Here staff gives their predictions on the game.
Indianpolis Colts (5-3) at New York Giants (3-4)
Monday, 8:30 p.m., ESPN
Betting Line: Giants +3.5
Brad Carroll (6-1 straight up, 6-1 vs. spread)
Colts 33, Giants 24
The Giants will have trouble running the ball, as Rashad Jennings won't play, meaning the Colts defense, which was ravaged by Ben Roethlisberger last week through the air in a loss to the Steelers, will be able to focus on Eli Manning alone. That, along with the fact the Colts have Andrew Luck running their offense, makes this a no-brainer pick for Indy.
Matt Straub (3-4, 3-4)
Colts 42, Giants 27
Despite last week's debacle, I'm surprised this line isn't bigger. The Colts will roll to victory.
Craig Carroll (5-2, 4-3)
Colts 35, Giants 17
It seems like the only thing that can stop Andrew Luck this year is his own defense. However, facing the Giants offene, the Colts defense should do enough against Eli Manning and company to allow Indy to cruise to an easy win.
Glenn Carroll (4-2, 3-3)
Colts 38, Giants 13
Giants lose big to the Colts, who have the best quarterback in the NFL in Andrew Luck.
