The New York Giants catch a big break in their important game with the Arizona Cardinals today. Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer will not play, as he was declared inactive for the game. Drew Stanton gets the start for Arizona.

Palmer was listed as questionable this week with a right shoulder injury, which is his throwing arm. Stanton hasn't played since December 19, 2010. Rookie Logan Thomas should be the backup.
